Enjoyable fundraising dinner at Kava in Todmorden in support of Freedom from Torture on Saturday evening. The 35 seats sold out and over £400 was raised. Live music during a three course meal.
A raffle raised £90 for Survivors of Torture Activities Fund (STAF). Many thanks to for the donations to the raffle, particularly from Lynette and Fran, Mike Bryson, Lynne Midwinter and Kava.
The event was organised by Calderdale Freedom from Torture group which also distributed Together We Grow’s leaflet to the guest.
Also thanks to Blackshaw Parish Council for letting us include our leaflet in their mailing to all the households in the Parish – around 350 of them
