On 15th October we took a group of refugees and asylum seekers to see Halifax Choral Society’s concert at Victoria Theatre in Halifax. We are grateful for the choir to offer us free tickets to all their concerts.
It was the choir’s 200 year celebration event so a journalist made an audio recording about the event and interviewed several of the refugees. As usual the conductor spoke at the start of the second half of the performance and welcomed the refugees from Together We Grow. We left some leaflets about Together We Grow for people to take.
