On 13th January we met with the refugees at St Andrew’s Church to do a consultation event on what Together We Grow should be doing in 2018 and beyond. A lot of good ideas came up, some can be implemented pretty soon, others will need further fundraising. Our Management Committee met the day after to discuss all the proposals.
Due to the donations from Morrison supermarket, from a former nursery and from many individuals in our community we had a room full of stuff for the refugees. Several of them had so much that we gave them a lift home as there was too much to carry.
