Our walking group had a nice walk from Hebden Bridge to Old Town where we had a picnic lunch followed by fruit, homemade biscuits and cakes. The sunshine made it even more enjoyable and we had a lot of talking and laughing.
After the walk two of the asylum seekers went to the Oxfam shop in Hebden Bridge and got signed up as volunteers. Three of our asylum seekers are already a volunteer there and others have expressed an interest in also becoming a volunteer there. An important step in their integration process.
