On 25th August we had a sports day – full of games like wheelbarrow, three-legged race, lime (instead of egg) on a spoon running competition, etc. It created a lot of laughter.
We also had Kim Metcalf coming to play music for us – followed by a BBQ, more football, table tennis, playing with sand, socialising, picking herbs, salads, tomatoes, etc to take home.

We also had a large selection of clothes, shoes, bikes, etc for the 62 refugees and asylum seekers to take.
Many thanks to Kim for playing her music, to the eight volunteers who helped out during the day and to the drivers who offered lifts from Todmorden train station and back.
