We took a car load of donations to the Red Cross event, which takes place every Monday from 10am to 3pm. Apart from ESOL classes, a free hair dresser, advice workers from various agencies, games and drawings we also had a warm meal thanks to a small army of volunteers.
It was useful to speak to a lot of old and new friends.
Together We Grow will be there with another car full of clothes, furniture, toys, games, etc.
We were allowed to sell second hand books at a meeting in Manchester with ten people present and raised £26.67. Many thanks for the donations.
