We have now had these four translations made in the languages used by most of the asylum seekers and refugees in our area. Many thanks to every one who has helped.
The translations have been designed and are currently being printed by the Print Bureau in Hebden Bridge. They are to go into our newly printed leaflet offering financial help to leisure activities for asylum seekers. It can be sport, music, drama, arts, yoga, cycling, singing, allotment, etc.
The printing should be finished this Thursday so we can take the flyers to our event on Saturday 20th April. We will have lunch at Hebden Bridge town hall before going to the Picture House to see Jumbo.
Asylum seekers and refugees from Rochdale will be joined by asylum seekers and refugees from Halifax for what we hope will be regular events.
