Today we took 24 refugees and asylum seekers from Halifax to a pirate party in Todmorden, held in an outdoor play area on Dineley Ave.
We did not invite asylum seekers and refugees in Rochdale to this event as they do not have their half-term break from school this week.
After a lot of games we all had something to eat and drink before walking back through Todmorden park where those who wanted to stay in the play area could do so.
