Yesterday we took the asylum seekers to Todmorden. We had kindly been offered to use the Central Methodist Church near the town hall all day for free. So we could walk there from the train station.
After a drink and a snack in the church’s café area some wanted to walk around and see the town. We saw the inside of the town hall, the canal, the market, etc.
Others wanted to go to the park and use the playground, play cricket and football and see the animals.
We then went back to the church where we had a big lunch. They all took home a lot of food they had helped to grow.
Many thanks to the volunteers who helped out during the day.
