The response to help the people of Aleppo with essentials have been impressive. Went to the old Magistrates Court in Rochdale on Saturday with the first car load of stuff (last three pictures). A second car load will go today to KYP and a third full car will go on Monday. Thank you so much for all your donations.
As the pictures from the old Magistrates Court show there are already mountains of stuff collected – ready to go to Aleppo. A second container will now be going from Rochdale.
Dozens of people helped out at the old Magistrates Court, Asians, refugees and asylum seekers, men and women, young and old – some of them involved in the Together We Grow project. It was impressive to see such a well-organised collection for some very desperate and vulnerable people in Aleppo.
