Thank you everyone for your donations

We had six car trips, two trailers and a van going to the old Magistrates Court in Rochdale yesterday full of stuff for Aleppo. This is on top of the two cars and a van that went Saturday and Sunday. The donations came from Todmorden, Hebden Bridge, Heptonstall, Oxenholme and of course Blackshaw Head. Many thanks to everyone who donated.

The last chance to donate or to help sorting all the clothes out and pack them is tonight from 5 to 9pm. You can also help sorting on Wednesday evening. If you do not know where the old Magistrates Court is in Rochdale it is next to Rochdale Police Headquarter – opposite the town hall. If you come with a car full of stuff for Aleppo it is best to turn left at the main Post Office, turn first left and then again first left until you see a ramp going up. However, you cannot park in front of the old Magistrates Court longer than you need to offload as you will block other cars coming.

On Thursday 22nd December from 5 to 8pm the first container will be loaded, which will take about three hours and about 100 volunteers are needed.

The pictures are from last night. The big piles are all separate piles!
