On Thursday we took the last car load of clothes for Aleppo and helped fill the 40 feet long container with clothes, food, medicine, medical equipment, nappies, etc. All the clothes had been checked and sorted into boxes for men, women and children.
Around a hundred volunteers helped on Thursday – a lot of them young people from the Asian community in Rochdale. When the container was full everyone had a meal inside the old Magistrates Court.
A second container will be leaving for Aleppo in early January. The transport is organised by an organisation called One Nation, which also send supplies to Africa, Greece, Yemen, etc.

Well done.
