With 40 tickets to see Snow White at the Hippodrome Theatre in Todmorden we took asylum seekers and refugees there for the 2pm performance.
Prior to that we had first arrived at the Central Methodist Church in Todmorden for a drink and a snack before taking all the children to the park while the parents went for a walk around Todmorden to hear about Incredible Edible Todmorden at the Green Route, see the market and get to know a bit of history of the town.
Then back to the Methodist Church for lunch prepared by Age UK, who served soups, breads, fruit, cakes, tea & coffee, etc. All very tasty.
Both the church and Age UK were very welcoming and helpful. Many thanks for their hard work and support.
