Thanks

Many thanks to everyone who has donated to our project via https://localgiving.com/charity/togetherwegrow. We have so far raised £515, which is amazing and helps us pay for asylum seekers to come to events here.

Thanks to Valley Organics who came with four vegetable and fruit boxes for the asylum seekers.

Also thanks to the 27 local people who have offered to give asylum seekers and refugees lifts from and to the train station. It saves us a lot of money in bus & taxi fares.

The next visit is on 6th February. Among the activities on offer will be painting clay items already made, making clay bowls on a wheel, finishing bird boxes, creating arts and craft things, making raised beds, baking cakes and cooking lunch for everyone. – Many thanks to all the volunteers who make this possible.

We will also be offering the asylum seekers winter coats, boots, etc donated by members of the local community. Many thanks to them all.
