Trip to Manchester Museum

On 10th December we went with 19 asylum seekers and refugees to Manchester Museum to hear a performance by Stone Flowers – a musical group made up of asylum seekers and refugees torture victims who have received or are receiving support from Freedom From Torture. Two of the 19 were part of the performance.
Afterwards we had lunch at the museum’s café and a look around the museum. Some went on to have a look around Manchester.
In January we plan to visit Todmorden for the day and see the Snow White performance at the Hippodrome Theatre.
