We took refugees and asylum seekers from Rochdale and Halifax to the Todmorden Folk Festival. Many thanks to the festival organisers for organising such wonderful outdoor activities. The children had a wonderful time which make the parents happy.
Thanks to Shirley at Todmorden Community Resource Centre for having us all for food and drinks. We did it in two shifts as the group was so large. Thanks to our volunteers and to the performers who were so welcoming to the children of refugees.
