On 22nd February we had some of our Rochdale friends coming to Todmorden.
During the morning we painted plates, bowls and cups with the artist Lizzie showing us how to use our creativity. Once painted they went into an oven for 20 minutes and you could no longer wash the decorations off. So everyone was able to take them home.
We then walked to the Kindness cafe to have a warm lasagne, salads, garlic bread and puddings. There was so much food that everyone could take leftovers home, including lots of bananas.
After lunch some children wanted to go to Todmorden park to play. Luckily, the sun was shining although it was quite windy. It did not stop the children playing without coats on.
