The rain did not stop our 23 friends from Halifax coming to Todmorden to do some bowling with the ten volunteers from the Bowling Club.
After a while the fingers got cold. So a warm vegetarian lunch went down well with every one at the Kindness cafe. Hot coffees, teas and cholates also helped.
Many thanks to all the volunteers at both the bowling club and at the Kindness cafe for making it such a memorable day. Thanks also to Beryl for transporting our disabled friends in her car throughout the day. And thanks to Todmorden College for letting some of us having a toilet visit walking back from the park.
