Three of our committee members went with two members of Survivors of Torture Activities Fund to meet three members of Lamet Habayeb (an organisation for the Arabic community) in their new office and had a lovely Palestinian lunch there.
Two of our committee members went to meet with Ruksana from Rochdale MIND at their Thursday event for refugees and asylum seekers where they have basic English teaching and serving a hot lunch. It is from 11 am to 2 pm.
Red Cross runs an advice session in the same Baum church (opposite Lidl) on Mondays from 12 noon to 2 pm.
