Many thanks to Blackshaw Methodist Church for letting us sell our new booklet, Doris’s New Home, at their Christmas Fayre. It is a children’s booklet with drawings by Shakya from Sri Lanka and text by Laura. Shakya’s parents were able to come and help selling the booklet, which is on sale for £5 – in support of Together We Grow.
Also thanks to 3 Valley Vegans’s Christmas Faves Cookery Demo to invite Theja, who is from Sri Lanka, to show home to make a Sri Lankan Aluwa at the Fielden Hall in Todmorden.
