We had a successful stall at Blackshaw Village Fete on Saturday 1st September. The main purpose of the stall was to raise awareness about Together We Grow, but we also raised £43.25 and made some useful contacts.
Among the contacts were local people who wanted to support us practically – like offering lifts at our events -, the local peace group who invited us to come and speak at a public event on International Peace Day and a local symphonic orchestra which is interested in doing a benefit concert for us in January in Todmorden Town Hall.
