Many thanks to Magic Little Grant for their £500 donation to Together We Grow. We will use this money for leisure activities for asylum seekers as they only have £5.75 to live on per day, which has to cover food, transport, telephone, clothes, toothpaste, etc. etc.
A few members of our walking group walked from Howarth to Hebden Bridge in 6 hours – with rests. It was a 9.5 miles long walk. Some of them now want to walk some of the three peaks. Some of the asylum seekers want to do all three peaks, 26 miles, in under 12 hours. […]
