What a fantastic night on 11th November at the Birchcliffe Centre in Hebden Bridge with hundreds of people having a Cleilidh and with music by ‘The Peaceworks Band’, The Four Hoarsemen’ and ‘The Bright Shiners’.
Over a thousand pounds was raised for Survivors of Torture Activities Fund, which pays for former and present clients who have been tortured at Freedom From Torture to be able to attend leisure activities, like sport, music, singing, dance, drama, yoga, art classes, etc – including transport and babysitting.
It was also Di’s birthday celebration and she paid for most of the expenses for the event. Many thanks to her.
