What looked like well over a hundred people formed a living heart in the middle of the Piece Hall in Halifax on 17th March at 9-9:30 am – all holding orange hearts.
It was a public event organised by St Augustine’s Centre to put pressure on the government to amend the bill that makes it a lot more difficult for asylum seekers to seek protection in the UK.
The event was filmed by a drone and we hope it will be available soon. Luckily, we had bright sunshine that morning. Hina that had produced this lovely heart with a poem on.
