We invited our friends from Rochdale and Calderdale to come to Hebden Bridge for a day out. And what a day!
On arrival at Hope Baptist Church we had a drink and some fruit before Lizzie Lockhart did a workshop where we made gifts for Christmas, Eid, birthdays, etc.
Among the gifts where decorating plant pots before putting a bulb and soil in it. Together We Grow in practice!
We had ordered 40 meals from the Tibetan Kitchen for lunch. We had Chickpea and Spinach Curry
Paneer and Butternut Squash Curry
Veggie Momo dumplings
Basmati Rice
Chilli Sauce.
After lunch Yousef played some live Turkish, Kurdish and Arabic music for us all. What a talent.
After lunch some wanted to go to the town hall where there was a big Well-being event and others went to the play-area in the park.
When darkness arrived people took the train back home.
