We had a wonderful walk with friends from Rochdale. Some had to give last minute apologies due to tooth ache/dentist appointment or meeting with solicitor. However, the singing, the chat and the lunch made it a lovely walk.
Thanks to Marian for organising it. Here is the route we went: Through town to Foster Bridge (all this is towpath and pavement). Footpath along Hebden Beck, up steps to Midgehole Rd. Field and riverside to Blue Pig, cross Midgehole Rd and take footpath behind terraced cottages back to road and then footpath back to the Beck. Along Beck to Windsor Rd. Up to Lee Mill Rd for picnic at Marian’s.
