Took a car load of clothes, shoes, blankets, duvets, children’s books and toys, etc to asylum seekers and refugees to a Red Cross event held in a church every Monday. There are advice workers, an ESOL class, a barber, games to play, free lunch and drinks. Many thanks to everyone who donated these items.

Our walking group had a lovely walk from Blackshaw Head to Hebden Bridge. The weather was just right.
28 refugees and asylum seekers from Rochdale and Calderdale came to see the Handmade Parade in Hebden Bridge. After the parade we had lunch and watched the entertainment. Great to see so many dancing to the music. A great day out!
