Thank you for the invitation to this great party on 4th June, where hundreds of people came to enjoy the music, the dancing, the singing and the amazing food. It was organised by an Arabic community group in Rochdale we have worked with for years. Great to see so many old friends.

Plants and more plants
Thank you to everyone who have donated plants for us to distribute. Tomato plants have gone to people in Rochdale and four car loads (with one more to go next week) have already gone to St Augustine’s Centre in Halifax to be distributed.
Visit to Shibden Park
On 2nd June we invited our Calderdale friends on a trip to Shibden Park in Halifax, from leaving the bus station. The play area was very popular as was a trip on the train line in the park, followed by ice creams, football and frisbee.
Visit to Todmorden
On 31st May we had a lovely event in Todmorden for our Rochdale friends. In the morning we had Lizzie doing paintings of plates, bowls, cups and egg cups. Thanks to the Community Fund & IKEA
