Our walking group had a Feast afternoon with lots of wonderful food. Not everyone could come due to illness and our co-chair, Ibrahim, has just moved to London with his family when they finally got permission to stay in the UK. Many thanks to the host, to the chefs and to Ibrahim for their contributions.
Together We Grow supports asylum seekers and refugees. We invite them on daytrips around Calderdale, to cultural events, support them to access leisure activities, have a walking group, one-to-one English conversation sessions, grow food they can take home and provide furniture, bicycles, clothes, prams, books, etc donated by members of our community.
